Lost a tooth? It happens! No matter the cause of the lost tooth, you can restore the appearance of your smile with the help of a durable dental implant from Genesis Dental.
Dental implants are a great solution for lost teeth because they are just like getting your natural tooth back! Dental implants from us can:
All of our dentists are trained to handle tricky cases like dental implants, because when done right, the process should be comfortable and easy.
Come to us at a time that works for you, as all of our locations offer evening or weekend appointments, so you don’t have to miss any work or school.
Dental implants can sound complicated, but they aren’t when done by the right dentist! The whole process can take three to six months, but our dentists will work one-on-one with you to determine the right steps to take and ways to make it as easy as possible.
First, we’ll place a piece of titanium into your jawbone. This is the base for the tooth and mimics the root of your teeth that you already have. We have to wait a few weeks for your mouth to get used to this piece before placing a permanent crown. We’ll use a temporary crown until the permanent crown is ready, so you don’t have to go without a missing tooth for long.
Once we place the permanent crown in, you can brush, floss, and eat whatever you’d like. Our crowns are just like you never lost a tooth in the first place!
If you’re experiencing major discomfort or feel that something isn’t quite right, give us a call. We’ll be happy to look at it to make sure everything is adjusting smoothly, often on the same day that you call.
At Genesis Dental we choose to get our crowns custom-made at a local lab instead of printing them on site with same-day crowns. This extra time allows us to give you a custom-made crown that actually fits, without needing to drill away large amounts of the surrounding teeth. By going this route, we save more of your natural tooth, which is better for you and the appearance of your smile.
Our crowns can last 15-20 years with proper care, although it’s expected that some things will need to be replaced eventually. When it’s time to make the replacement, come to Genesis Dental again. We’d love to take care of it for you.
If you’re missing more than one tooth or need something stronger, there are a number of denture options you can choose from. Implant dentures or bridges are just a few of the implant options we offer.
