We know that tooth extractions sounds like a scary process, but it doesn’t have to be. Come to Genesis Dental, where all of our trained dentists can make the entire experience easy and comfortable.
Some tooth extractions can’t wait. If you need help right away, give the Genesis Dental location closest to you a call. We always strive to be available and can often provide an appointment the same day, even if it’s after hours.
While we always advocate saving your natural teeth when possible, in some cases we may recommend removing a tooth to make sure your mouth stays healthy. Some reasons we might choose to extract a tooth is for:
We always suggest coming in for a cleaning and exam in Utah or Kansas first to check for any cavities or infection that could inhibit the healing process. We’ll also take any necessary x-rays to get the full scope of your mouth and find any hidden issues before extracting any teeth.
If you notice that your wisdom teeth are growing in, it’s time to schedule your dentist appointment. While not all people need their wisdom teeth removed, we may recommend getting them removed for many reasons, such as preventing teeth crowding or preventing pain from impacted teeth.
During your regular exam, we can let you know whether or not you should get your wisdom teeth removed.
Our dentists are all specially trained to handle even the trickiest situations. In fact, many of our dentists can often provide similar service to specialists to make sure you’re well taken care of.
If you do need a specialist, we have a board-certified surgeon on our dental team. This means you don’t have to go out of your way for specialized care.
We accept a number of dental insurance plans, and for those who don’t have dental insurance, consider signing up for our loyalty plan. Our plan only costs $20 per year and can save you 35% on tooth extraction services.
All of our locations offer appointment times in the evening and on weekends. You don’t have to miss work or class to get the dental care you need. Plus, with locations all throughout Utah and some in Kansas, it’s never been easier to find a dentist close to home.
We’ll walk you through how to care for your mouth after the tooth extraction, as each case is different. For more extensive treatments, you should expect to bring someone to take you home after your appointment. Other tooth extraction procedures may make it possible to simply drive home yourself!
There are a few things you can do to make sure recovery is as smooth as possible.
If you are experiencing pain or the swelling doesn’t go down after a few days, please give us a call! We want to make sure your smile is taken care of.
If you need a tooth extracted, schedule an appointment at the Genesis Dental location closest to you! We’d love to get to know you and provide the best care possible.
